mail.com Contacts offers you:
Once you log in to your mail.com account, you’ll find your address book for email under the > Contacts tab on the top menu bar, right next to the Email, Organizer and Cloud menu options. Click here to access and manage your contact data.
Simply log in and select > Contacts on the top menu bar of your mail.com mailbox. You can add, edit and delete contacts whenever you please. Click > New Contact to enter an individual’s contact information, or click the + symbol next to the name of an email sender to add them to your Contacts. There are no limits on the number of contacts you can add or the amount of times you can edit a contact.
To help you keep track of all your important contacts, the mail.com online address book features easy-to-use filter, sort, search and favorite functions. Your mail.com Contacts can be filtered by groups, favorites and birthdays. For example, you can apply a filter that lets you see only contacts with November birthdays. We not only offer some predefined groups (family, friends, and co-workers), but also give you the option of defining additional groups to suit your needs. This makes it easier to find exactly who you are looking for.
mail.com Contacts is compatible with all contact apps that support the CardDav standard. This means you can also synchronize your contacts with your iOS or Android smartphone. To sync with an iOS device, add a CardDAV account in the settings. For Android, download the mail.com email app and select > Sync Contacts in the settings.
The mail.com Contact function supports imports in the following formats:
For detailed instructions on how to import addresses from Mozilla, Outlook, Windows and Apple, please see their websites.
To export contacts from mail.com, simply go to > Contacts in your mailbox and select the wrench symbol in the upper right corner. Now click > Export contacts, select the desired format, and click > Export.
The mail.com Search function allows you to find anything in your mail.com account at the click of a mouse, no matter where it’s located. So you can use it to search your address book without having to open Contacts separately. When you log in to your mail.com account, you will see a Search button in the top right corner of your screen. Clicking > Search will open a dialog box where you can type in the name of whatever it is you’re looking for. For a more granular search, you can open your Contacts and use the > Search contacts function. This allows you to filter by groups, favorites and birthdays.
